Refund Policy

Plain-English summary: Outcomes are booster-judged at review. If the target wasn't hit and your dispute is upheld, you get a USD-denominated refund paid in the original chain at refund-time exchange rate, capped against extreme volatility, with a chain-dust threshold for very small amounts. The dispute window is 30 days post-completion.

This policy governs refunds for Jezzpeak boosting orders. It is referenced from the Terms of Service and constitutes the refund contract between the customer and Jezzpeak.

1. Outcome contract — booster-judged at review

Every order has a target tied to an outcome metric (kd_ratio, rank_target, hybrid_kd_plus_rank, or shadow_exit). At the awaiting-review transition, the booster files an outcome assessment with the per-match evidence the platform captured. The customer accepts or disputes the booster's call.

The shadow lobby exit metric is booster-judged at review using per-match lobby_skill ratings (1–5) and a final assessment. Jezzpeak does not perform automated detection of SBMM internals — the platform observes and audits, the booster judges, the customer accepts or disputes.

2. Dispute path

If you disagree with the booster's outcome assessment:

  1. Click "Dispute" on your active-order page within 30 days of completion.
  2. State the reason (which outcome wasn't hit and why you believe so).
  3. An operator reviews the same evidence the booster filed.
  4. The operator either:
    • Approves the booster's assessment — no refund,
    • Orders continued play to hit the target — booster delivers more matches,
    • Refunds the order per the formula below.

3. Refund formula

When a refund is granted:

4. Chain-dust threshold

If the refund amount in chain units falls below the network's economically- viable transfer threshold (e.g. an Ethereum gas-cost-equivalent), the refund converts to platform credit of equivalent USD value, applied to the customer's next order. The customer can decline the credit and request a manual payout, which the operator processes when the cumulative dust reaches a transferable threshold.

5. Sanctions screening

All refund destination addresses are screened against the free OFAC SDN list before payout. Matches are escalated to manual review and may delay or block the refund pending compliance investigation.

For Phase 1, screening is the free OFAC SDN list plus manual review. A paid SDN-screening API may be adopted in a later phase if volume justifies the cost.

6. Dispute window

The customer has 30 days post-completion to file a dispute. After 30 days the booster's outcome assessment is final and the order is no longer eligible for refund.

7. What this policy does NOT promise

To prevent any reading of marketing copy as contradicting this policy:

9. Tax

The customer is responsible for any tax obligations on refunds. Jezzpeak issues no 1099 or equivalent tax document on refunds.
